Current state of research and teaching activities

  • One of my research topics is how educators can explore and develop creative early childhood education and care based on social constructionism through discussion and collaboration. I have 5 times a year of 'Explorative Research Group' which is an opportunity for researchers and early educators to discuss and research for practice of early childhood education over documentation.
    My research field is also a history of life and death education in modern Britain.

    I am also interested in cultural history of instruction of life and death in arly modern Britain.

    I'm working on the theme above co-working with the attached kindergarten of the University of Yamanashi and other local educators. Local democratic discussion and share of values of education focusing on subjects and dialogues are needed in order not to bring checking-box and achievement-based evaluation into early child education. Also we need to build a clear and descriptive evaluation system. I would like those who co-work with me in both home and abroad.
