    統合失調症の約3割の患者は抗精神病薬による治療に反応しない。これらの患者は抵抗性統合失調症に分類される。近年治療抵抗性統合失調症における脳内グルタミン酸の異常が繰り返し報告されており、グルタミン酸仮説に基づいた治療介入が検討されてきた。安息香酸はD-アミノ酸分解酵素(DAAO)阻害作用を持つグルタミン酸系作動薬であり、治療抵抗性統合失調症に対する治療効果が報告されている。その仮定される作用機序は, 1)DAAO阻害により、D-セリン濃度上昇させ、グリシン調節部位を介したNMDA受容体機能の増強作用2)活性酸素(H2O2)の減少作用が挙げられる。しかし、過去の研究では脳内グルタミン酸濃度や抗酸化物質であるグルタチオン(GSH)濃度への影響は検討されていない。本研究の目的は、安息香酸投与前後に、1H-MRSを用いて、脳内グルタミン酸、GSH濃度を測定し1)安息香酸の脳内グルタミン酸、GSH濃度への影響2)安息香酸により症状が改善する患者の生物学的特徴を明らかにすることである。2020年度は倫理委員会を通過し、山梨大学の1H-MRS撮像プロトコルを設定した。2021年度より患者を対象としたデータ収集を始める。
